The playground clearly met the approval of the kids, who spent hours sliding down the sliding board, swinging on the swings, climbing the climbing ramp, and crossing the suspension bridge.<\/p>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_235\" class=\"thumbnail wp-caption alignright style=\"width: 395px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/piscatawayhills.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/playground-oktoberfest-2012.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/piscatawayhills.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/playground-oktoberfest-2012.png\" alt=\"kids playing\" width=\"385\" height=\"280\" class=\"size-full wp-image-235\" srcset=\"https:\/\/piscatawayhills.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/playground-oktoberfest-2012.png 385w, https:\/\/piscatawayhills.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/playground-oktoberfest-2012-300x218.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 385px) 100vw, 385px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"caption wp-caption-text\">The youth of Piscataway Hills enjoy the new play equipment during perfect weather at Oktoberfest.<\/figcaption><\/figure>Attendance was probably helped also by the perfect fall weather. People were able to relax at the picnic tables in the warm sun and enjoy the traditional Oktoberfest offerings of bratwurst, apple sauce, potato pancakes, and a large variety of desserts. There were so many revelers, in fact, that the beer ran out by mid-afternoon, for the first time in anyone\u2019s memory.
